I am looking for a stanchion base for a 1983 Jeanneau Sunshine 36. I just bought the boat and the previous owner said he had tried to source one without luck.
Is there a place to buy second hand parts for older Jeanneau boats? Any "wreckers"? Anyone who knows where I might be able to source this part?
Thank you!

Hi, you might post a picture of one, many folk won’t know which base fits your boat, but might have one in their shed, and your location may help as well.
Good luck CB

I wanted to add a picture, but didn't find it very straight forward to do. The following is a picture I have uploaded now:

I'm still looking for these. Please contact me if you have one to spare. itjost (at) gmail period/dot com or +4741170511. Does anyone know of a boat wrecker who could have parts like this from a Jeanneau? Thanks

If you can remove one, you could take it to a machine shop and have one (or a few) machined from billet, might not be as expensive as you might think. The boat breakers seem few and far , and most aluminium bits get melted down to be turned into money, they won’t hang on to stuff for too many decades, so perhaps the machine shop is your best option.
