I have the same model, 39i. Unfortunately I don't know the answer, but please post when you figure it out!
Thx, Mic

Clay, There are several posts on window replacement and Brow removal on the FB 39I group. This appears to be a common problem. There is at least one set of photos showing the removal and installation. I recently rebedded one window that was leaking and followed the Sika guide for bonding and priming. I found that once the adhesive started to fail, the entire lower section of the window had fully lost any bond and was just "sealed" by the bond to the window on the upper UV-protected areas under the Brow. The removal of the brow appeared to be pretty aggressive so before doing so I attempted the removal from inside using a multi-tool and a beveled 1.5" cutting blade. I don't think it would be possible to break the wide tough bound with wedges and other tools on the upper UV protected section. It took some time but it did work. Protection of the existing PMMA Acrylic is key if you want to reuse vs replace. I used a thin piece of PE plastic cut to cover the entire interior exposed surface. In retrospect, removing the grab rails, embedded rivets and screws, and then dealing with 5200 and fiberglass, I think was the best way for 2 windows. If I was going to replace all the windows and was OK with the fiberglass repairs, then I think that would have been the easier route. Either way, be sure to remove and clean all the old adhesive (scraping and sanding), prime and build up the adhesive and treat the glass before bedding. Lastly, be sure the new adhesive is properly protected from UV, as that is what caused the problem with early adhesive failure in the first place. Hope that helps! Thanks, Buddy, but for those of us not on FB, is there another way to get the details?
