Hello owners. I’m looking very closely at the NC11 to buy. Salt water boat. Looking for feed back with regard to the longevity of the stern drives. If you have had any issues, what where they?
Thanks in advance.

Sterndrives are fine as long as they are regularly serviced. When buying check for service history, bellows changed every 2 years and oil changed yearly and anodes changed as and when required. I just sold a 19 year old boat which I owned for the last 6 years based on the Solent (salt water), no issues with stern drives at all but I serviced them as per the above rules.

Chihead. Thanks for that. We found water in both stern drive units. While they maybe ok, there was definitely a lack of service evident In the machinery department.
Are in the Chichester area?
