I have purchased the Jabsco switch so I can choose between raw water and fresh water. However I'm having difficulty with two things in the forward head: 1 - Where to mount it, inside the cabinet under the sink (and the flexibility required to get into that space!) 2 - Which electric circuit to tap into for the power. I'm becoming more confident that all red wires are unswitched power (still subject to the switches at the DC panel of course) and all black wires are going to the common ground. But in the forward head everything is so bundled it's hard to even find any to tap onto.
I just recently installed holding tank monitors, and for the forward head I had to snake wire over the top of the bulkhead into the cabin, and found power back by the pumps, almost back at the galley. There was no opening between the under sink compartment and the holding tank compartment.

I don't know your boat, but since you already have electricity to flush the toilet, you should be able to tap into that power. However, I seem to remember that when I did this, the power to the toilet was changed so that it went to the switch, which controls BOTH the solenoid and the toilet. As a matter of fact, now that I sit here typing, I am sure that you should be re-routing the power to the switch, with separate feeds to the toilet and the solenoid.
Upon reflexion, I will just ask what parts you bought? Just a switch, a switch and a solenoid valve, or switch+solenoid+toilet base?
