We are in the learning stages of our boat, and came to a head scratcher…
The forward head/shower doesn’t drain. There are 2 forward shower pump labels on the DC panel, but only one switch. Turning on that switch doesn’t do anything.
Is there another manual switch in the shower/head that we’re missing?

There may be a toggle switch in the vicinity of the shower to manually operate the shower waste water pump. Check first that the outlet valve is open.

In my SO 35, there is a rubber-coated switch in the shower area that you have to hold in the "on" position in order to get the pump to run. You need to turn on the breaker on the electrical panel in addition, of course.

There may be a toggle switch in the vicinity of the shower to manually operate the shower waste water pump. Check first that the outlet valve is open. I have a 2002 43DS. Both the main and forward heads have a manual spring loaded toggle switch that must be held on to activate the pump (black rubberized cover). As ronparker said, make sure the seacock is open before trying to empty the floor basin. If the pump turns on but the water level doesn't go down, check to see that Jabsco Pumpguard strainer is clear.

Thanks all, found the culprit...
The previous owner had pulled the power connector from the pump... For future reference, the forward shower pump and strainer are located below the holding tank, inside the wall cabinet in the head.
