Just in March of this year I have ordered a 795 series 2, as I live in Florida I have included an AC system in the configuration. Could any of you owners of this model of boat comment on: location and quantity of outlets and return (photos), installed cooling capacity in BTU, location of equipment and performance in general?
As additional information, the capacity of the equipment included in the initial configuration is 7,000BTU and it only has two outlets: one in the saloon and one in the cabin; I asked the dealer to change the equipment for one of 12,000BTU and to add another outlet in the saloon and they replied that it is not possible, neither one nor the other for reasons of space.
UPDATE!!!
Installed the Air Conditioner system (12V; 12,000BTU), two lithium batteries (250 AH each one), charger and inverter (12V to 110V). Plus three extra outlets: 2x 110V (wheelhouse and under sink) plus 1x 12V socket (Stern). By MABRU (https://mabrustore.com/).

Congragulations. I recall that earlier a forum member installed himself, a 12000 unit, by cutting the storing space next to the fridge, completely out like a box. In this way, a large area down below was exposed. As an extra he is able to use the storing box on top again. 4 clamps hold the box in place and he can reach his unit under anytime easily. What he has done is similar to the placement of the boiler by the factory. That is cutting the kitchen floor and reaching to the empty space down over the hull.

If anyone following this thread is looking for an AC unit, I have a Dometic DTU8 for sale. I removed it from where it was installed behind the fridge as described, with a vent in the cabin and one in the salon. It was good cooling for us, but there are not that many days we would need it on the dock, where we needed shore power to run it. We're installing a diesel heater instead to extend our season in the spring and fall. I have everything you need to do the install (more info here vancouver.craigslist.org/nvn/bpo/d/squamish-marine-air-conditioning-unit/7468375949.html)I can ship it in North America pretty reasonably ($100-250)

I want to run the AC while I’m at sea in South Florida. What are the limitations to run time. It sounds like the installer AC runs off lithium battery. Any ideas? Thanks

What I found out about the factory installed 8K BTU A/C unit is the lithium batteries run time is 4 hours. The V bunk being the lowest point in the boat is the coolest. With only 2 discharge vents, portside aft salon and lower forward berth. Ceramic window film is a must in SWFL, clear on windshield and tinted elsewhere. They now make a film for the back polycarbonate doors, hatch and sun roof. This film is somewhat new to the market and works with the plastics of those areas, to expand and such.
In tallking with a neighbor who sold his 895 because of the green house effect, he purchased additional duck and vents but never installed them. He also tinted his windows but only the glass ones. I'm hoping I can buy these items from him for he doesn't have a need for them now. I also saw a blower that fits inside the duct work to push more air. I'm wanting to run vents on starboard side of salon and be able to reduce air flow to forward berth.
I also just read of a portable generator 2K size to run A/C that I'm going to look into getting. The factory 8K BTU is plenty for the square feet the salon covers, it just the heat of SWFL that needs to be dealt with! Thoughts?

We just picked up our 2023 NC795 S2 last month and took it to Key Largo for a few days and then up the ICW to get home in Merritt Island. Ours has the factory a/c with three lithium batteries that run a n a/c on AC120V through an inverter. Not yet having the windows tinted, the unit kept the inside salon at around 88 degrees during the hottest times of the day. It cut the humidity nicely too. I have an appointment to have the windows done and will update after. Batteries lasted just under 4 hours. With shore power hooked up, it worked beautifully through the night keeping the cabin as low as you want it. It’ll freeze you out at night. The biggest detractor is the number of vents. The air eyebrow vents are basically useless and should have been ducted to the a/c. It would’ve really helped if the vents that were installed were adjustable. Starboard side vents are sorely needed (as is factory window tint) and perhaps a few more BTU’s. If I had to do it over I would’ve gone with the Mabru 12V 12kBTU system (cheaper too). We previously had a 2020 NC795 without capability to run the a/c while underway. We purchased a 2k generator from Harbor Freight which ran the a/c but was noisy and smelly, even when strapped to the port-side swim platform on a urethane pad. The pad kept the platform scuff free. Overall, we’re pleased with the boat and it is a well designed layout for two people to use as a weekender. We miss the gas stove but the electric is a two-burner and works well. The galley sink is much larger now too but the cover no longer fits in the slot built into the back of the door beneath the sink that it was meant for(too long). The best part about this boat, however, is the engine upgrade to 250hp and the rudimentary autopilot/ auto thrust. It’s very quick, did almost 40mph, and it was really nice not having to steer all the time.
