I've been messing with this for a while and I need some advice. We have a Garmin GPSmap 7600 something on our 895. I used Navionics on my tablet and smart phone on our last long cruise and it was great for route planning on longer legs. I was planning on getting the subscription before our next cruise because I love he auto navigation route. The plotter from the factory only goes direct or manual route to.
I have seen in several places were a G2 or G3 card will add this feature. I see that these cards are all chart cards for varying geographic areas. My first question is; What chart data did my plotter come with? It plots the Columbia river quite well and we've been all over the sound from Olympia to Victoria with some surprisingly detailed data. My second question: Is it worth getting the card and what capabilities will we gain?
Thank you in advance

If you have a garmin, have you looked at the home port application. Its great for planning.
