I'd like to add a powered bass tube or something. Has anyone done this? If so where did you locate the subwoofer? The six inch Fusions sound fantastic for small full range speaks and even have good bass. But being a bit of an audiophile I'd rather remove the deep bass from their workload... photos.app.goo.gl/jWhuHWh5YrGGvBmL8

Hi Ted I have added at Bazooka to my Fusion. Its great to have this deep sound. But where to mount it i have no idea in your boat. The bad thing with my installation are its mounted in closed space and i have a extra opening. but the bass is not coming out in fully power but, if I open the lid then water ring is around the hull!!! (almost ). Good luck :-Dan

That's good info to avoid double enclosure. Thanks Dan!

I replaced the system, upgrading the Fusion head unit to an RA670 and going from two to four speakers, JL Audio M3's (without the pulsing lights!!) and a 10" JL Audio subwoofer, which is on the starboard side right by the driver's ankles. This cost quite a bit of money but since I also use the boat as my work-from-home office, I thought it was worthwhile. It sounds… wonderful.

Here is what I did for the subwoofer. In my case I replaced the two Fusion speakers with JL Audio ones, added two more JL 6.5 speakers in the front v-berth, and two JL 7.7 (if I remember correctly) speakers in the rear cockpit. Finally for the sub, as I don’t have a refrigerator, I placed a JL 10” sub in the hollow space under the seat where the fridge would normally go. The amp was mounted in the storage area under the galley
