I'm adding a VHF radio to the 795. The antenna comes with 4.5m coax cable. Is that sufficient?
I read here that the cable comes out under lazarette starboard side forward. Does anybody have a picture as to where exactly it comes out?

Does anybody have a picture as to where exactly it comes out? Depends where you mount your radio & antenna, but sounds kind of short to me. Mine is attached to the port side roof handrail and I needed a 8.0 m long coax for that. My radio is mounted in the steering console.

I ran the coax under lazarette and through the rear support column, then inside the roof to the port side. It can be tricky, apertures inside the column are about the size of a matchbox.

You’re welcome. If your cable is short and using another, longer cable is not an option, it is possible to extend the cable by using proper connectors. That’s what I had to do. Connections may reduce the gain a little, but I couldn’t tell the difference in my VHF & AIS use.
