Hello to everybody, I'm very glad to have been accepted in this community.
I just bought a 2005 Sun Odyssey 35 and look forward to begin sailing with it.
Well, actually the boat is in Liguria (Italy) and, due to Covid lockdown, don't know when I will be able to bring her home in the east coast of Calabria.
In the meanwhile I will enjoy this forum.
Bye!
Francesco

Welcome to the forum Francesco, It will be a difficult time waiting until you can get your hands on that new boat. Anyway, it will make it all the nicer when you can finally get to know her.
Regards,
Trevor

Hi Skippy2, welcome to the forum. It is a friendly place to hang out and enrich your boating experience.
While you are waiting there is a wealth of information in previous posts which are mostly timeless, so always worth reading. You will find many systems are similar across different models, so have a look at every thing that interests you, and not just your model. You will be able to while away many pleasant winter evenings both while you are waiting and then when you a using your boat so that things are more immediate, just browsing through the information there.
I am sure you will enjoy your adventures in the new boat.

Hi fellow members. I hope you didn’t ignore me because I’m a power boater. Lol I recently boat a 2015 Prestige 55’ fly Prestige is a Jeanneau company Not sure this forum was not created for the power boat owners. But you never know what can be learnt. Even from Blow Boaters😀 You are most welcome, powerboats as well as sailboats. Jeanneau in fact started with powerboats inn the late 1950's so important part of the DNA. As you say Prestige models originally were all Jeanneau's, in 2004 they became a standalone brand. There is within this forum a dedicated Powerboat section jeanneau.proboards.com/board/5 but as you correctly point out we can all learn from each other.
