Hello everyone,
Like many during this pandemic, I attended a few jobs that were on my to do list for months/years. One of them was to replace the glass splash-back in the galley as there has been reports of spontaneous braking, resulting in thousands of tiny pieces of glass everywhere. There are threads on this forum related to this.
I have had one cut in perspex with matching colour and it's virtually impossible to distinguish between the 2. Obviously it is not as rigid as glass but I now know that it won't explode, even if I end up falling on it in rough weather.
As a result, I have a glass splash-back to give away...
Let me know if you're interested... or if anyone sees any drawback to this modification...
Kind regards, Allegria

Hi zaphod,
I could send you a picture of the new splash back but you wouldn't be able to see any difference. Same size (obviously), same thickness, same round corners, same colour...
It was AUD165 including GST.
Cheers, Allegria

Hello,
No, I didn't get any taker for the splash back... but I don't know if it would fit a 439... Happy to provide the measurements tomorrow...
Cheers, Allegria
