I am wondering if anyone else is has this issue, I have water in my fuel tank compartment somehow, but there is no drain drilled into the bilge? Should there be one? Does anyone else have this issue?
Thanks!

Hi cobratom, how much water are you seeing and from which water separater filter? There are two filters, one off the tank and another on the engine.
There is another thread “you more than likely have water in your Fuel system” thread you can search on. It covers a known issue with how water gets in the fuel system.
Cheers, Ron

Thanks for the reply, but I think you may have misunderstood what I wrote. I am not talking about fuel in the system, I am talking about water in the fuel compartment. As in, the compartment the fuel tank is in, that in my boat appears to be sealed, with no bilge drain.
I am wondering if anyone else has a bilge drain from that compartment.

Ok, I understand your question now. I’ve not heard of anyone with water in that compartment yet. I have an access hatch in the engine well that provides access to that area and if that hatch were not sealed tight I could see how water would make it in that compartment. As you noted, I don’t believe there is any sort of drain and I Know the factory does not install a bilge pump in that compartment.

So the way the tank is designed and the space is designed there is room that flows directly into the bilge pump area, but there is no hole or access to it.
There are multiple access points to this area, including vents above, the rear hatch to the fuel shutoff near the engine and the two hatches in the storage compartment. I wonder how many people have actually looked in there?

Yeah, good question.
