Hi I have issue to get plastimo flexible water tank not leaking. I just bought new inner tank (100 l) but still it leaks, I assume from water input and output connections.
Any tips ?
Would it help if change to hard watertank ? Any advice where to get good size (in SO29.2 default place is under front bed) where optimal size would be combination of cube and triangle.
Anyone know where to get non-default cube sized tanks ?

I have used Plastimo flexitanks on other boats without problem. So long as you ensure no sharp edges, they should be OK for 5 years or so. It is well worth putting in a layer of industrial bubble wrap before placing the tank - this also reduces condensation problems.
However as you suggest the leak may be from the connections. They have to be carefully tightened with a wire type ring spanner which fits into the small holes in the top fixing plate

Hi Malcolm
Thanks for replay. I do also have good image of plastimo products.
Flexitank is not itself leaking, and I do have soft material around the tank to protect from sharp edges.
Just now I look how to get this issue solved. I plan to get new connections part - maybe that helps. More, I look for information where to get just right size hard tank for my boat. If you or anyone have information where is good selection of -not normal- shape water tanks, I would be very grateful of that. web url preferred.

Maarti There may be a similar firm in Finland or Scandinavia, but here in the UK Tek-Tanks are probably the best specialist maker of tanks They have a guide to designing a tank at: www.tek-tanks.com/downloads/Custom%20Water%20and%20Waste%20Tank%20Fittings%20Guide.pdfFinally back to the Plastimo tank - I am sure you will check but from memory there may be a large O ring that has to be in place in a groove and the plastic outer ring has to be tightened with the wire spanner to get a good seal Malcolm
