On "Early Mist" this Autumn, we sprang a very considerable fresh water leak.
It was only noticed when the focsle cabin carpet was discovered under a centimetre or more of water. When we took up the boards over the water tank and the one closest to the bow, we found this whole area full of water! Literally, full! It needed pumping. This area has no limber hole to the bilge so just accumulated each time water came along. We soon decided it was not salt water and not a leak from the water tank but coming from right up in the bow.
Current culprits look like either from under the bow roller or the anchor well drain skin fitting. (That's going to be a disaster to get at to change or sort out, given it position right up in the bow with no access hatch - going to have to cut one!)
Has anybody else had this problem?

We have a 2001 Sun Odyssey 37. Have some water coming in also. I think ours is coming in the aft vertical portion on the port side of the bow pulpit. Some other posts said to check the inspection caps in the anchor locker as they are notorious for leaking. Hope this is helpful
