I need a new halyard bag for the cockpit of my SO 32i. The boat has fittings to accept webbing straps but I cannot find a source for buying them in UK, has anybody out there sourced these bags? If so where did you get them?
I have a photograph but I cannot figure out how to put a photo on here.
Any help much appreciated.

Given jeanneau parts pricing, you may be better off having your sailmaker/canvasmaker sew something up for you.

You could be right, its a simple enough item to make. Amazed that I can't find them anywhere on the internet. They all seem to have press studs fixed to the bulkhead rather than the webbing slip though fasteners that are on my boat.

I had replacements made at a local canvas shop. Just give them the dimensions of the webbing (aidth of strap and distance between straps) and they could fashion something suitable.

Thanks puravida, that thought had occurred to me as we have a good canvas workshop nearby who do a lot of marine work, they repaired my spray hood a year or two back. Maybe visit them.

I had one made locally for about £45 - you do need to ensure that the webbing is the correct thickness though; first it was too thick and it broke one of the plastic clips (I had to source a replacement!) and then they were too thin so they didn't hold the bag! Looks good though and it matches the sprayhood etc

Thanks for that John B, I might have to look at that, but have to admit £45 sounds well over the top.

Agreed. Having spent £900 on a sprayhood and £200 on a wheel cover and £450 on a sailcover...the £45 seemed cheap!!!

If you have the old bags, as I did recently, I sent them to Tecsew in Gosport, and they made me new ones, don’t remember the price.
I noticed there is a thread on here where they are offering discounts to members of this forum
