HI Anyone got a great idea about toilets? I have a SO 45.2 1996 and have found that the aft head is wobbling..the two back bolts are loose. They have not been fitted through to nuts and there is no space to fit nuts..as one can hardly get a finger through to the underside of the block into which the toilet base is fitted. HAs anyone come across this problem and has anyone got a great fix?? (not too techy of course) OH JOY!!!! Siun

Hello Siun. Don't sweat it trying to stick anchor nut or such like behind the holes as it's virtually impossible. Prior to purchasing my Jeanneau SO 37, I had a similar problem on my Beneteau 321 Oceanis Clipper. A real bummer (if you'll pardon the pun). I ended up drilling ALL holes (two front, two rear) large enough to take the next largest size of rawlplug (the type that spreads out behind the hole as one tightens the bolt). Just ensure the hole is deep enough for the part that spreads out to pass and clear the wall thickness by firstly measuring the thickness of the grp and the depth of the hole. Hasn't wobbled right up to the day I traded her in. Regards Louis

Thank you so much Louis, I will have a go at this approach as I have been hauling in relatives to design all sorts of engineering devices to get a nut under the block... we go out to the boat in November I hope, and I will post progress (if I have not got a life by then and am still obsessing about bolts under heads).....CHEERS

Hi Louis Did you stick with the 9mm diameter for the bolts (ie the jabsco ones ) just longer than before? is that what you meant? or is it just the rawlplugs that were long enough to reach the bottome of the GRP block? Sorry if thats a dim question Im just trying to picture it....thanks Siun
