My bilge pump on auto mode will not shut off. it appears the float switch is broken. Has anyone replaced this and may know the MFG and model number?

There is no need to replace the exact pump. Not sure what you have, but I prefer pumps with separate external float switches, as that is the component that usually dooms the integrated pumps. I always keep a spare float switch aboard.

I switched from mechanical to electronic switch and I’m a lot happier - but needed to install a proper jabsco non return valve and upgrade the pump to 1100 from 500 gpm for everything to work as expected

I found that my electronic switch rule 1100a bulge pump will cycle all the time even when no significant water in the bilge. Apparently the sensor doesn’t really know when it’s only a moist environment. I replaced the pump/sensor with a new one and same result. I was planning on changing to a float switch! Maybe no great answer to this issue?

To answer my own question after removing the old switch. It is a Johnson “Ultimata” electronic switch
