I have an MF 895 on order for June delivery.
I have bean reading in an RYA publication that they recommend fuel tanks to be kept full as much as possible to minimize condensation in the fuel tank.
with 2 x 200 Ltr tanks that seems a lot of unnecessary weight to be carrying if we are just cruising around the bay or on short passages.
As to date my boat experience is with various Sibs and Ribs they only normally have portable fuel tanks so at the end of a cruising day any unused fuel just gets emptied in to the car tank
Have you experienced people found any problems with condensation in the fuel system / tanks of the MF 895 because the fuel tanks are normally kept around the 50% mark for short cruising days?
Hope you can advise

Congrats on your 895 that’s coming. I just checked the fuel filters on my 895. They didn’t have even a trace of water in them. My tanks averaged near empty to 1/2 full all winter. So I’m pretty pleased. You can see more info on this on the thread “You more than likely have water In your fuel system”.
