I saw this boat locally awhile back, looks like a mid 80's model. but no markings to say it was a jeanneau or even a Beny first series. Any one know what it is?

Hi Marty It is a "Feeling" not sure which model, if you have a better resolution photo you might make it out on the water line aft You can see basic specs at: www.yacht-brokerage.com/carac/then do a search putting Kirie in the Constructor field They were made by Kirie in France and had many similarities to the First series although tended to have very light wood finish interiors. Often had lifting keels and very distinct graphics made up of nautical signal flags on the bow waterline Info on the new Feelings is at: www.feeling-yachts.co.uk/new-feeling-yachts.htmAlthough these are now made at a different yard and under different ownership to the original Kirie range Malcolm

Thanks malcolm,
IIRC the length was a 34 which is what thru me. I took the pic with my phone, and until a few weeks ago, did not know I could change the resolution so bigger pics showed up. I have a pic from the opposite side too, but do not think the length shows up any better. Altho there is not a window aft on that side, so probably a typical 2 cabin version vs a three.
It did have a lot of the Goiot parts as does my Jeanneau and Ben's from that era. I had not heard of a Kirie until a few weeks back, so that did not cross my mind. Then I got the understanding that not many go here on to the West coast of NA vs them having a small fleet racing ont eh east coast, probably Chesapeake or equal on upper east coast.
