Yikes Lee! That looks like wires hanging out of a live 240 v panel. The back of that meter should not be touched.
Please - unplug the shore power and call an electrician, that stuff is dangerous. Not for hobbyists.
The reverse power issue will not be in your panel, it is indicating a fault, possibly back in your marina. My best recommendation is not to touch 240 v wiring.

I will try to fix the analog meter but If I can't, I will buy a new digital Volt/Amp meter. I may have to enlarge the panel cutout by a few mm to fit the meters that I can get on line. The dock wires check out OK with the polarity, so it's somewhere on the boat. Probably at the entry point which I plan to take apart once I feel like getting down into the deep lazarette where I will need a ladder to get out!! Will keep those interested posted.

AC volt meter or do you mean the 12v DC meter? Never seen an AC meter onboard.
If you mean DC, get a battery monitor and ignore the analog. You might be able to put the battery monitor where the volt meter is.

It is a 240V analogue meter. You can see the dark area where it fits in the picture at top of this page. The left part of the panel is marked 240V with water heater, sockets, battery charger etc. The right hand side is used for 12V functionality. I thought all the Scheiber panels used By Jeanneau over last 10 years or so had a similar layout.

ok, logged on via my phones 4G and can see the photos. Never seen an AC volt meter. I can't see the point for shore power, but maybe it's useful when there is a generator on board.
there might be a model or part number on the meter and google might find it for you.

Hi...Blue Sea Systems sells digital meters that would appear to fit my panel. The voltmeter is probably a simple switch-out, but I'm concerned about the ammeter. The analog ammeter has a built-in shunt, whereas the digital requires an external one. Since I have the selector switch, that may complicate the wiring with an external shunt.
