Anyone have a good procedure on how to get some pre-bend in a 40.3 mast. I have both the upppers and lowers rather tight at the present and decent backstay tension but the mast is still real staright.
Thanks

Do you have a mini forstay? if so, tightening up that will give you a bit of bend.

Thanks - I do have a baby stay that I could tighten a bit more - not sure how hard I should tighten this as I do not want to put too much load on this as it ony has a small backing plate and do not want to have the deck house raise up and start cracking.

It does not take much, I can pull on my babystay and move my mast forward an inch or two by hand. I set mine at about 15-20% breaking strength per a loose guage for the size mine is.
