I am less than confident of the holding power of the Bruce anchor fitted to our 43DS and would like change it for a 20kg Manson Supreme, which receives excellent reports. Trouble is I am in the UK and the boat is in Greece and I would like to be sure it fits the Jeanneau stemhead before I buy. Are there any owners out there with an Manson anchor who can confirm it fits?

I looked at fitting a Rocna to a SO39 and it was fine on the stemnead fitting but the roll bar was in the way of the bowspit I settled on a Spade which sits perfectly despite the "curved" shaft,

Thanks for the tip dublin. I don't think the roll bar will be a problem as we haven't a bowsprit. I was more concerned at the longish tip clearing the bow when seated in the stemhead.

I have a 49DS and a manson supreme 60lbs works well on the starboard roller.
