Any tips on lubrication and anode access please? What is the function of the sea water flush? Should this sea cock be kept open?

Leave the sea cock open when you know you will be going aground on soft mud. The water in the keel box is trapped by the mud, and then as the boat settles in , so the water level rises until it overflows the top of the keelbox. About a gallon a tide, and its very messy. In fact my boat is still a mess.
I havent lubricated anything yet, as there appears to be plenty of grease on the screw thread rod, but I will phone Ian Scott of Clarke and Carter tomorrow to see if there is an anode. The instruction manual does not mention one.

Thanks for explaining that but any thoughts on lift disassembly and anode replacement? Is it all done from below?

I'm also owner of SO35 with lifting keel. Its not possible to get specific information from Jeanneau about the anode for the lifting keel. Does anybody know something about the type of anode and the shape? As far as I know, replacement is done from below.
