My spinnaker halyard blocks wear out as they are positioned directly over the furling. Can I just create an offset to solve the problem or is it more complicated?

Hello
What exactly is the arrangement on your boat? I'm guessing your spinnaker halyard sheaves are some way above the furling gear and that you have pulley blocks attached to the mast below them?
If this is the case - pulley blocks are really not the best solution as they tend to wear out. We have "specs" on our SF35 - a pair of stainless steel eyes above the forestay that the halyards are fed through. I'm happy to get you some pictures up there this weekend if you are interested.
