Anyone have and use them? I'm looking at Fujinon 14x40 and Canon 15x50 and 18x50. Input and experiences appreciated. Thanks.

I purchased a Nikon StabliEyes Binocular and found that it works very well. I have not tried it in anything but light chop, harbor conditions, but I was able to read buoy numbers with it. Without the stability feature, it was impossible. Worth it, they are expensive, but I feel it does provide a margin of safety if reading markers or buoys is important in unfamiliar surroundings.

I have a pair of Canon 10x30 image stabilized binoculars that I bought about 5 years ago. They are very useful, and I wouldn't be without them. I have been able to read boat names and sail insignias from much farther away than with normal 7x50's.
One thing, though. My Canons aren't waterproof, so you need to take care to keep them dry.

I did finally buy a new pair of Nikon 14 x 40's off of Ebay last fall. Very, very impressed!
