We have a 45DS with Featherstream prop. Works really well and a lot cheaper than the Gori. Ian

We have a Flexofold 3 blade 20 x 14 LH on the saildrive on our SO519 with 75hp. I believe most props are now available in either shaft or saildrive versions. In a test the Flexofold had the least drag but reverse thrust was lower. Happy so far.

Hi! is There anyone that have 45 foot jeanneau or similar with 75hp engine with Gori foldable prop! how is your expirience with the prop and what size do you have? best regards Kaptein Kork Yes and we love it. Gives at least a knot sailing and really only use the prop motor sailing in overdrive when we get a good speed at 1800 rpm. Last year we sailed 1000 nm using the engine for 66 hours and 196l fuel which averaged out at just under 3lph. Best boat speed was 12kn (I do have a photo of the ST60 which might have been over reading but it felt fast!!!) GPS SOG was greater than that. 4JH4-TE with 18~20" prop. I did use Propshield which certainly lasted over the season with no growth. These are real figures not estimates... Hope this helps

Can't remember taking it up to 2400. In overdrive we normally cruise at 1600 rpm which gives us 5/6 knots. We try to sail most of the time which is the real benefit and don't go out in really bad weather!!! Hope that helps a bit.
