Hello!
How are Prestige 36 2004 saloon roof panels fitted.

Firstly my apologies for the delay but been away.
The panels are secured by a very strong industrial strength form of Velcro.
I use the term Velcro in the sense of the hook and loop principle but this stuff is very strong.
If you can imagine both sides having thousands of tiny hooks only (not the fluffy stuff of normal Velcro) then you can probably get a mental picture of the grip method. The problem is that the hooks are made from a firm plastic and grip like crazy. The only way to remove the panels is to very carefully start at one end with a flat steel and gradually work along the full length. It is very easy to break the panels as the grip is so good but it can be done with care. If you want to practice first try removing the varnished wood panel over the companion-way as it is normally also fixed the same way. It's position means you can just about see a small gap between the wood and the mounting area and access is possible with a long blade knife. I have actually removed mine and replaced with a couple of stainless steel screws now providing ready access into the void behind the wood. (Access to electric cables etc).
Good luck, Napoleon
