I want to replace the white chart table led on my SO 379 with a red but can't see how to get the current LED out - can anyone assist? Alex Thomson

I couldn't see how to do that either, so I swapped the fitting for a switchable red/white light design. Glad I did, since the white light is useful on dull days.

Hi Aroha,
It it may be worth looking if there is any clue to the manufacturers name somewhere on the light. Then catalogues or a supplier or another forum member may be able to help. In the mean time, I have found over many years that a piece of red cellophane held over the light with a rubber band or sticky tape works well for the occasional night sail.
