For those who haven't heard otherwise, the 5th annual Great Lakes Rendezvous is scheduled for 11th-13th July at Racine, WI, on Lake Michigan.
The Reefpoint Marina is an extensive and well-maintained venue, a short walk from downtown Racine and with some interesting day sailing territory (well, for southern Lake Michigan) nearby.
Contact Lily Young at Larsen Marine, lyoung@larsenmarine.com, (847) 336-5456, for details.
Denni & I will be there; we're recruiting other Jeanneau owners from our marina to attend. As usual, we'll have some interesting bottles from our wine cellar aboard to share with friends old & new.

Malcolm,
Talk to the dealer you jut bought your SO39 from, then have them talk to Jeanneau UK or equal. Jeanneau US along with the local dealers are the ones that sponsor local ones around here. Like the pacific NW one I will be hopefully going to in late June, 2 dealers co sponsor that one. On about 9 yrs running.
I seem to recall seeing one in St Topaz or some such name, but that may have been in the Med too. A bit away from you Probably. I figure if I leave from the NW one, maybe in one month I can get down the west coast, thru the panama, over to the mississippi, up the river to the great lakes!!!!aack. long trip for a 30'r! Probably have better luck making it to the one in California at Catalina Island!

Just found our we have do an East Coast rendezvous bein g planned for 12-13th July... ;D
There is also an established Jeanneau Fun Cup on the South Coast, but we tend to be somewhere else when that is on
The St Tropez Rendezvous seems to be strictly for the big boys - it used to be for the SO54DS's only but think some of the > 45 Jeanneau's now go as well

If that one is only for the big BOYS, I wonder how they would like it if I managed to show up in my 30'r! ;D ;D ;D Maybe show up via silver bird, and claim to have a BIG boy Jeanneau ;D ;D ;D

I don't think St Tropez is worth too much concern - the whole of the French Riviera I understand is more about posing than sailing ;D Malcolm
