I was suprised to find my film listed here, but hope you find 'The Journey' entertaining and enlightening. I know a few people have embedded the link into their websites but here it can be found in full HD 1080.
Most of it was shot on a 'GoPro3 Black' by two people who had never used one before. Overall not bad at camerawork for two first timers.

It is a really great and inspiring video (as well as the trip itself) and much better in HD
Loved the mix of maps, music and underwater shots etc
Thanks for sharing
Well done

Great stuff Alenka , thanks for sharing it , the music is excellent ,...as is the rest of course. I like the contradiction you made concerning the " notorious " gulf of biscay , smooth sea , walk in the park , etc. My last solo crossing (Aber wrac'h - la Coruna) was in june 2012 , wheater prediction was ok and I also had the same ' have fun and enjoy ' situation .But half way the crossing a small baby depression (the so maniest, remember the 2012 summer) that was forecasted to jump directly into the channel and thus letting us ( 2 boats) be , decided to develope into a huge monster and make a right turn straight into the bay.My friend saw it comming (shortwave radio and gribs) and after warning me at the end of the second day we separated , his 47,7 footer gave him the advantage of partially running ahead of the storm. Close to 24 hours of sheer 8 - 9 Beaufort hell , of which I sincerely hope never to encounter again. I was very lucky to get away with it .Forgiven but for sure not forgotten.
But congrats , reaching Greece in 24 days ?
Regards

Thanks for the compliments guys.
From discussions on other sites it seems Biscay is probably a heads you win tails you lose thing. It's a long way to motor and most boats will need to carry lots of spare diesel to do so. If you sit in the middle and wait for the wind to pick up it's highly likely you will get more than you bargained for!
Ironically Fair Game left Brighton a little late and missed two days of perfect 12kts (out of the north) by just a few hours.
The Med storm was however the most distressed sea I have ever witnessed. Which reminded me that my old mentor once said, the worse seas he has come across were always in the Med.

For some reason Youtube says this won't play on iPad or iPhone and is greyed out.
But if you click on start it does indeed play!
