We have to replace our watermuffler (Exhaust) in our Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43 DS, the shipyard has emptied the diesel tank and thinks they have to dismantle the galley now, can that really be? Can anyone tell us something about this? The diesel tank has to come out, that's clear, but how? The video is to big to load up

That is crazy!!!
I did mine last year, just to clean the tank you only need to remove the floor trim on bots sides and you will slide the tank out
basically, remove the 3 floor boards in the corridor, then you remove the trim on both sides, where the boards rest when closed. Then unbolt the tank and wiggle out gently
i removed mine alone, not heavy, just chunky
cheers

Hi, does your tank go under the sink/galley? The mechanics says there is nothing that can be removed, the floorboards have been removed Greetings

By the way, just remembered, there was a write up by a member that dripped the kill for maintenance, that is where I got the details on how to remove the tank . It will be in that section where Malcolm keeps all the upgrades
Anyway, I'll send you photos tomorrow morning HKT

Attachment DeletedI there I am having issues uploading the files use this link> 1drv.ms/f/s!AoZeFtYsW1FthscHyrdQ6OWj1lT7oQ?e=KhWqts basically, once you remove the panels, just remove these 2 stripes, then unbolt the tank and disconnect all hoses, and you will be able to wiggle it out easily cheers

Send me a PM with your email But if that parts are removed, just removing the bolts that hold the tank down will be enough Just make sure he has emptied the tank 1st! Cheers

Beifall Thank you
