I thought this was in the manual, but I cannot find the gelcoat color or the gelcoat manufacturer to make some minor ding repairs. Anyone know this information?

Hello Brent,
That is really good information.
I notice you have a painted hull. Is it Awlgrip? Are you happy with it? I have the same or close to the same colour and mine is awlgrip. I am happy with it but it does have a couple of marks on the transom from a previous topside buffing job where the buff dug in a bit.
I am hoping it will not fade with time. I guess if it does I will get it painted again.
Regards,
Trevor

Travor, Yes the hull is painted with Awlgrip Majestic Blue. Per Awlgrip, I don't polish it at all. I use AwlWash Concentrate and AwlWash sealer and that keeps it in good shape; however, the dark hulls are a lot more time consuming to keep clean...but they look great! I may weigh the dark hull color again when it needs repainting, but I am happy with the product.

Thanks for the information,
Mine is Corinthia Blue and I will get a topside polish when next hauled for antifoul. The guys at the slip seem to know all about alwgrip so I should check how they polish it. I love the colour but I get a little concerned I can keep it looking good.
Regards,
Trevor

The dark blue is great but it shows everything. Let me know if you learn any secrets from the other folks on Awlgrip.

I repaired the small chip in the non-skid deck and two cockpit 1/2" diameter chips over the weekend using the Spectrum Color patch kit. Easy with great results...in fact on the non-skid, I had to look several times before i could find it. I mixed the paste per the instructions, cleaned the chipped area with acetone and applied the paste with a narrow scrapper. On the non-skid, I used a awl to scribe in the cross-hatch design while it was still wet. It took about 1 hour to dry so it could be sanded. I started with 220, then 400, 600 & finally 800 grit wet-dry paper, then polished it to match the gloss.
