Does anyone know who was the OEM (original equipment manufacturer, Jeanneau supplier) for lifeline pelican hooks used around the turn of the century? I presumed that these were Wichard, but they do not match anything in Wichard's current catalog and bear no manufacturer's markings. They are not from C.S. Johnson. Goiot and Selden don't seem to make such hardware.
One of mine lost a locking pin. I'm attempting to find a direct replacement, so that I need not re-attach the threaded end of one from another manufacturer to the lifeline.

It turns out that Johnson makes a replacement pin that is a near-fit for the factory standard pelican hook. The local Jeanneau dealer's parts manager suggested this. The narrow shaft is a few mm too short at the pull ring, so the pin (which is of perfect diameter) doesn't fully penetrate and lock the hook. But it's close and much better than nothing.

I am replacing the lifeline gates on our SO37 with Suncor hardware purchased locally. Seems good quality from what I have seen of it so far.
