Hi Chris
I was going to suggest Z spars, but then saw your other post on the noticeboard.
Might it be possible to get both parts - IE foot and shoe from a similar size section from another maker or a newer Z spar section? realise that means replacing the mast deck shoe as well, but can't think of much else short of asking someone to replicate the casting which no doubt would be prohibitively expensive.
Do let the the board know how you get on, as getting replacement parts for the older Jeanneau's will obviously become increasingly difficult, so solutions and fixes will be of interest and importance

Malcolm thanks for the reply z spars have been very helpful and can match another base and foot to fit my size of mast but it would end up 4" shorter so all my rigging would have to be changed and also the halyards come out of the side of the mast and not at the base which mine does, im taking it to an Engineering firm on Monday as they say they can weld aluminium hopefully that will be the answer Chris
