Hello boardmembers , I'm about to buy a new mailsail for my 40DS and I have set my mind on the Chinese manufacturer Leesails www.leesails.com/I have read very good reports from customers and they seem to offer a good price - quality relation. Since everything goes through the internet one should provide them with the proper dimensions of the old sail , and that's where I seem to be having a few problems with. I'm a little uncertain on how to fill in the data sheet www.leesails.com/datasheet.htmSince my English (not my home language) only goes that far I'm affraid I would supply them with some wrong data. Could someone (an English 40DS owner) please be so kind as to fill in the form and email it to me so I'm sure that the right data is being supplied. I guess all 40DS original mainsails are the same so no mistake can be made. It doesn't harm that more owners would send me their file so I can make a kind of cross-fix and be extra sure that the data is correct. I will be more than happy to send you my email adress using a PM so it's easy to add the filled in form as an attachment to an email Thanks in advance for the help.

Is there a local rep that speaks your native toungue? Granted I am in the US, but there are about 3-5 reps thru out the US, I would also not be surprised if that form is not translatable to other languages by them. I see a french language clicky at the top.
Also, are you near the boat? Another brand or two has directions on how to measure for your new sails. I would go that route over measuring the current ones, as they could be stretched and not shaped correctly. It is not that hard to do this with a steel tape prefered as they will not stretch.
I would also think, the measurements could be inches/feet or Meters. At the end of the day, should not matter to them. They can convert, or use the appropriate tape at the shop.
My step dad had some made for a boat he has. I've gone with Ullman for the majority of my sails.
