I have a Jeanneau 57 We have a deflated - squashed flat -air switch -(which operates the shower pump in the forward port head). Has anyone had experience with with re-inflating the air switch. The switch still works - but only just - but I would like to re-inflate if possible.

Chrism - Yes, you can go underneath the sink and disconnect the air tubing (it looks like a thin black power line) and blow into it in order to re-inflate the foot switch. I spent a good half hour trying to figure out that system, I though the black line was a single-conductor wire and couldn't for the life of me find the 2nd connection at the pumpt to complete the circuit!!

Thanks for that. Is the connection a screwed on fitting - or does it just pull off a sleeve?

I'm not sure, I seem to recall that there was a black switch transducer screwed in, but that the little pneumatic hose was simply on a barb/pull-off sleeve to that switch. That was what confused me, the switch had 2 wires going to it, but just one "wire" leading away and when I pulled it off I thought I'd stripped the wire because the "wire" was hollow.... I really should have realized that it was a tube and not a wire.
