I have refrigeration problems on my 2000 Sun Odyssey 37. How do I remove the cabinetry/paneling behind the stove to properly remove and reinstall the piping to and from the compressor and the cold plate in the box?

Hello Guys, There is probably more ways todo this but here's my way when I had to replace the fridge parts in my SO37.1: I did not removy any large part of the cabinetry at all. I disconnected the couplings at the compressor. Then removed the screws on the refrige element in the box (my large box had just a tiny little element up in the right corner), then it was simple to pull. There is quite a large hole in the box for the pipe to go through (since it needs to go through with its couplings!). That hole was sealed with some sort of non-hardening paste. Thereafter it was just to remove the old failed compressor, install the new compressor (now under the sink instead of under the stove), install a new through-hull for the seawater cooled compressor, install the new much larger box element, repipe/reconnect, turn the whole thing on again... Could probably post pictures of the installments if of interest but unfortunately none take when removing stuff. BR, Per
