I am looking at a 44 foot 1991 Sun Odessey. It has a draft of 7 feet. The keel bolts, where they appear in the bilge are covered with fiberglass and appear as bumps on the clean, nicely finished flat floor. I have never seen this before. It looks like it was done at the factory. Is this normal? Whats going on here? The keel is cast steel and I imagine the bolts are steel. Do these boats have any keel attachment issues?

I have a 1995 SO45.1 with the deep keel and my keel bolts are glassed-in too. It also appears to have been original and not something added later. My surveyor was not overly concerned about it when I bought "Little Roundtop" in 2005 and there have been no keel issues since. I wouldn't let it put you off an otherwise good buy.
