I am in the process of planning the installation of a 16k BTU Webasto FCF AC unit on our 39DS. I have the duct runs planned out and the unit is dry fit in its home. So far so good. I have a question about how to run the raw water hose to the AC unit. There is plenty of space in the bilge for the sea strainer and pump. However, there is no obvious way to get the hose to the unit without drilling through a stringer. Does anyone with AC on their 39DS have pictures of the raw water set? I'd appreciate any guidance.
Thanks
Chris

Missed your post by one day as I was at my 39 DS yesterday. On my DS the AC unit is under the starboard settee-about in line with the table base. The raw water inlet, pump and strainer is located in the bilge area/compartment just aft of the bilge sump. The raw water hose runs along the stringer to the AC unit and to my recolection does not go thru any stringers. This is as installed by the factory. I hope you have good service with your Webasto unit as the factory installed Webasto that came with my DS never properly cooled and was fortunately replaced by the dealer. I believe my current Marine Air unit is 12K so your 16K should service very well in your DS. I plan to be back at my DS on Saturday and happy to take some photos if you still desire.

Hi RC
If you could take a few pics that would be immensely helpful. specifically of the intake hose routing to the unit and the thru hull location for the discharge.
I have the unit in the same location as you mentioned in your post. I think it is the only or big enough to fit the 16k unit. Even still, it is awfully tight.
I greatly appreciate your efforts!
Regards-
Chris
