The anchor question brings out all the good and bad about folks. Reality is, you may need to carry more than one, as some work best in hard sand, other mud, some hard rock/coral. Then the question becomes, do you want something to hold in a hurricane 70-80+ knots vs what I would call normal potential high winds to say 40 or so knots or what some might call a lunch hook/stern anchor that will hold to 20 knots of wind?
I would think with anchors that heavy, you might have a windlass, then again, if not......how much chain etc.
