I have seen a number of Jeanneaus 43s, 35s, 40s and 37s with water leaks around the windows, not a deluge but irritating all the same, and mine has recently joined this elite group!
The problem is the material/sealant/adhesive used to bond the acrylic to the GRP, it's unreliable, as the deck flexes the windows pop off. There is a sikaflex solution which involves cleaning and priming both surfaces, this can be tricky and time-consuming and to effect a cure you have to remove the windows.
I have found another product that is easier to use, but more difficult to obtain (for me in the UK anyway - ended up buying it in Turkey). It goes under several names, as I recently discovered. Unfortunately its made specifically for the marine environment and the price reflects that.
BOSTIK 920
SIMSON 920
SIMSON Fast Tack
I have no connection with SIMSON or BOSTIK but its worth noting that this adhesive seems to me to be far superior to the SIKA product. For one there is no "special" preparation required, and two its sticks to acrylics like the proverbial to a blanket.
