ANY sailor will get the best performance out of a boat IF the rig is tensioned and centered properly.
With that in mind, I find my arcadia, similar specs to your 29.2 is best in the 15-20% of breaking load of the wires. I use a Loos Guage to figure out how tight things are. Send a crew of the mast to measure the top, then come down to the spreaders again measuring side to side to get things centered, set the % I want, then remeasure etc. Takes some time, but WELL worth it!
The mast manufacture may also have a tune guide on their website, if not, send me a pm with your email, I have a pdf I got from a seminar from the local Ullman branch that has helped me.
