did any of 36i owners extend or change the saloon table. i find it very unsatisfactory.the ext. is weak and and awkward to stow.i was thinking of getting a folding jobby like i had on my so32, which had more room and was quite strong.any suggestions please.

Oh well Brent , that is a very nice sollution. Strange , I frequently check the hints and tips , but never got around to this . Did you buy a spare table at jeanneau to make this ?
I'm extra curious about the push in pedastel . On my 40DS I have two fixed mounts , and I would also like to convert the table to an extra bed. That means 2 adjustable mounts . Any idea on where to get them and for howmuch ?
Thanks en greetings

Hi Sailbleu What year is your 36i as our boat is a 2009 and changes around that time and they put a red line on the 36I decal we have the table folds and there is a lift up section that acts as the bed base I have read on a blog were someone changed there and got the new table and lift panel from Jeanneau. Regards Gecko.

I designed the table myself and had a local firm make it & finish it (H&L Woodwork). The pedestal is a telescoping model sold by Imtra NS1610BL. The support I made from SS tubing and standard fittings.

HI
I bought a 2009 36i in 2010 and had my dealer fit the upgraded folding table. Works really well and we have been very glad we did.
