Can anyone help. I have a 2001 SO40 with, I think a zed spar mast and boom. The slab reefing mainsail is loosefooted which seems to work quite well and the clew of the sail (a 30mm s/s ring is fixed with a small canvas strop stitched onto an outhaul boom slide. This is an aluminium slug approx 50mm in length which runs inside the slot on the top of the boom, it has a diameter of approx 10mm and is flattened slightly on the top with a slot to accomadtes the canvas 'strop'. This slot has sheared. So I have no clew fixing. I cannot track one down anywhere. Can anybody help. I am in the U.K. for the winter, the boats in Turkey
