Black Diamond, our Jeanneau 39i Performance will be in the Lake Ontario 300 again this year. This race starts 1100 Saturday July 16th, 2011, and will run until about Monday or Tuesday for us. It is a 300 nautical mile circum navigation of Lake Ontario, Non-Stop, Offshore Racing Rating of 3, It is the worlds longest Fresh Water Race. The winds should be light this week-end, and we now have an 1/2 oz asym that should help. Our record time was 2 days 8 hours, I suspect this year will take us much longer. You can track us against the fleet, and follow our live blog all at www.radonic.wordpress.comTalk to you all later.... Ed

Good luck and have fun!

A sister ship placed 4th overall in the Milwaukee-Muskegon Queen's Cup on Lake Michigan two weeks ago, so maybe the karma's good for your run this year.

9pm pacific, about 11-12pm LO time, Ed is not doing really well, last boat in his fleet of 7, phrf crew #2. About 10 miles behind the leader with ~240 to go, so still lots of racing to be had. Link to a radar type listing. It may pop up ONLY with phrf2, but one can click and list other boats too. yb.tl/lo300-2011main page is www.lo300.org/
