I have a 2007 SO36i (twin cabin) version.
Over the last 12 months the water pressure to the shower has definitely dropped - to the extent that now there is not enough pressure to hold down the spray button that you have to push to activate the shower.
Water pressure to the sink and the basin is fine - and indeed the water pump runs much faster when you use these taps.
I have checked the shower pipe and the shower head and both are fine so I am a bit puzzled.
Anyone else had similar experiences or have any ideas as to what I might do next?
Thank you

I had some similar issues with the system on the SO39i Eventually decided to ditch the existing pump and accumulator tank and put on a more powerful constant pressure system - think it is this Flojet model bit.ly/pC4JZJ this has totally transformed things and you can run water both in the heads and the galley without the pressure dropping very much Before you do that try this: www.jeanneau-owners.com/hintsandtips/showerpressure.html this at least stops the shower going off - once you are used to the switch it works well - I have not bothered to replace the spring even now I have the better pump Ensure the pump filter is clean - you may well need a strap wrench to remove the acrylic cover - they are on amazingly hard - if I recollect I removed the pump from the boat rather than strain the mountings Finally do the simplest checks first - possible scale build up - there is a gauze filter behind the shower rose (also one on the sink faucet) I would also really check again for the shower pipe being pinched - they tend to flatten really easily right up behind the sink - especially if the shower head has been rotated - mine seems to have the same genetics as a telephone spiral cable and I may need to put a stronger outer-tube around the pipe at the end to stop this flattening

Peterb26, Besides checking to see if there is a kink in the hose, you should remove the spring located inside the shower head. There are pictures of how to remove the spring in the "hints" section on this web site. The pictures were displayed about 1 to 2 years ago. You might als want to check the filter on the fresh water pump, I had pressure problems and once I cleande the filter screen, the issue went away. We have a 2007 36i hull # 186 Happy Sailing MKREMEDY
