Just announced is the DS version of the new SO439 to be called the Sun Odyssey 44DS It will be interesting if the model range is continued to include a 41DS based on the 409? - and who knows - but presuming there will be a SO469 then we may see an SO47DS

I just got some pictures of the new models while I was in Nantes this past weekend - Jeanneau had set up the yachts in town for the dealers.

Hm, just took delivery of a new 3-cabin 45DS this year. I really like the forward bunk + V-berth with full rear cabin arrangement on this boat. It's going to be really interesting to see how she sails, the hull form certainly looks a bit zaftig. This will definitely warrant an in-dept boat crawl at the fall sailboat shows!

Interesting - looking at the sailboats looks like the SO509, then SO44DS (note no folding transom) then perhaps a SO379 - has twin wheels - but maybe even smaller? Malcolm

Malcolm - I took more pictures of the boats and, once I get home, will see if I can find some with better details and post them here.

Thanks that helps - pretty sure now that from left to right they are SO379, SO44DS, SO509, Prestige 500S and Prestige 500 (flybridge) - on which I note your reflection in the mirror door, so you can't stay undercover !
Images for the SO44DS do show some extra detail - I can't quite work out if I like the look of the grey (or smoked) section above the window line - need to see her in real life I guess. The pushpit rails usefully extend down the transom (like the SO379) really helpful for getting out of the dinghy, lifting O/Bs etc etc
On the power boat front I also just noticed that they are launching a NC9 as well, there are details on the jeanneau.com site for those without interest in rags and sticks - but clearly there are some cross-overs of the breeds - eg the 44DS has a stern window smaller but same concept to the Prestige 500
