I have got a problem with a corroded water lock on my SO 43 DS. In order to get it out, you have to remove the Diesel tank. I once did this already and had the part welded, but now water is coming out again.
As I assume, the problem lies in the wrong stainless steel, which once was used for the water lock. I am not sure, whether it is wise, to order a new one from Jeanneau, which is possible for a lot of money. Likely the same problem will occur then later.
Now I am looking for alternative solutions, e.g. installing a different lock under the beds. However, space is very limited there. Anybody has experience with this problem? Any answers welcome
thanks, Ronald

We have the same problem with our 2002 SO43DS and will either replace with original or repair what have others done? I will finish removing tomorrow, not a fun job especially getting the flange off the muffler so it can be removed.
Thanks, Dave
