There is a small black plastic cylinder in port aft locker connected in-board of the shore water connection. These appears to be leaking. It appears to be a Hendrickson pressure regulator. I assume this is trying to minimise any damage on-board though being attached to high-pressure shore water supply. Does anyone know anything about the operation and/servicing of this device? p.s. "Alfresco" is a 2007 54DS.

Getting this wrong could have terrible consequences as urban (waterfront?) myths (or not) abound about fresh water sinking's.... Guess it may be one of these units.... www.hendricksonbros.com/Products/PressureRegulators/tabid/712/Default.aspxIf so I would give their tech guys a call Malcolm

Thanks for the kind words, but my Jeanneau doesn't have a shore water hookup and thus there is no pressure regulator on board. But the descrption in the original post does sound like one. Is it not in the boat schematics? Wait a second, I have a copy of the 54DS manua and schematicsl... Nothing there after all, sorry.
