I have a 5 year old merryfisher 625 in generally first class condition. However I am suddenly beginning to find about 1/4 inch water in the footwell under the wheel after a couple of hours out . I just cannot trace the source and wonder if anyone else has had this and managed to solve or if it is known problem. All window and door seals seem to be fine. Any suggestions welcome before having to resort to drastic measures.

If you are based in the sea, the first check I would make is the "taste" test if it is salt you know to look for thru-hulls or engine cooling plumbing etc. If it is fresh it may be a deck leak or from your fresh water system

Well- its fresh water and whilst I cannot precisely trace the leak feed it must either be the starboard front window or more likely the S side window. Has anyone experience of this or taken one off to re-seat and re seal ?? I am game to try but being averagely practical ,whenever I try something like this I always seem to end up with bits left over .
any advice welcome

Hi, I have just purchased a Merry Fisher 625 and I too am finding water ingress after a short burst of rain, but mine seems to settle in the cupboard under the sink/seat. Did you have any success solving your leak? if so do you have any tips for a novice like me!
All information greatly received!
